How Commission Is Calculated
Commission is calculated on net revenue — the amount MyKids History actually receives after the App Store or Play Store takes its standard platform fee (roughly 30%) — rather than the sticker price a family pays. This is a common structure across subscription apps, and it means your commission tracks what the business actually collects, not the gross price shown at checkout.
Attribution
Your creator/coupon code is the primary signal (works on iOS and Android). Link clicks set a 30-day first-party cookie as a fallback, so a family that clicks your link but subscribes a little later can still be attributed to you.
Getting Paid
Payouts go through PayPal or Wise. Once you submit a payout request from your dashboard, it's reviewed and fulfilled manually rather than paid out automatically on a fixed schedule — expect a short review window rather than an instant transfer.

New affiliates are approved manually rather than automatically, so applications are reviewed by a real person before your dashboard and referral link go live. Have an idea of where you'll share MyKids History (a parenting blog, an Instagram or TikTok audience, a newsletter) ready when you apply — it helps the review move faster.
